Best Dressed! Omega Green Dressing
Is your fridge bursting with beautiful garden greens? Toss them up with this great dressing.
OMEGA GREEN DRESSING
Vegan and gluten free if you use gluten-free Tamari
Ingredients
1 cup toasted sunflower (or pumpkin seeds)
1 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup tamari
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1 1/2 cup flax oil (or olive)
2 cups parsley (or cilantro)
1/2 cup water (or to desired thickness)
Directions
If the sunflower seeds are raw put them in the oven on a sheet tray at 350 F for 5-10 minutes.
Wash and remove most of the stems from the herbs.
Blend all ingredients together on a medium to high speed added extra water for thinning out.
Great over any green salad, as a topping to cooked grains, and as a spread or dipping sauce.
Will keep for a couple weeks in fridge.
